David Tennant Shortlisted In Scottish Comedy Awards For Good Omens Performance



David Tennant has made the shortlist for the 2020 Scottish Comedy Awards for his performance as the demon Crowley in the Amazon Prime series Good Omens.

Launched on the streaming service last May, Good Omens is long-awaited adaptation of the cult novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. David co-stars with Michael Sheen, who plays the angel Aziraphale in the six part comedy which follows a celestial duo who team up to prevent the oncoming Apocalypse. 

David is nominated in the Best Actor category:

The winners should have been announced tonight in a ceremony hosted by Scott Agnew and Mark Nelson; however, due to the coronavirus outbreak this has now been postponed. The winners will now be announced on Tuesday 4th August at Rotunda Drive-In Comedy Club in Glasgow.
