Doctor Who Lockdown: Sequel For The Fires Of Pompeii Released Following Worldwide Tweetalong

A specially created sequel for the Doctor Who episode The Fires Of Pompeii has been released following the worldwide #VolcanoDay tweetalong of the adventure this evening.

The Descendants Of Pompeii was written specially by the episode creator James Moran and stars Tracey Childs and Francesca Fowler, who played Metella and Evelina in the episode. The video, which was home-produced remotely during the 'lockdown' period of the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, features the modern day descendants of the two characters.

The tweetalong events have been organised by Emily Cook of Doctor Who Magazine and aim to raise funds for The Film and TV Charity's COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, to support the creative community which has been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
