DENMARK: Deadwater Fell Premieres On DR TV This Month

The acclaimed UK series Deadwater Fell will premiere on DR1 in Denmark on Monday 30th March. The gripping four-part psychological drama was created by Daisy Coulam and stars David Tennant as Tom Kendrick, a respected GP in a close Scottish community, whose family die tragically in a house fire which was started deliberately. Deadwater Fell aired on Channel 4 in the UK during January. Anna Madeley, Matthew McNulty and Cush Jumbo also star.

Deadwater Fell
A small Scottish town is torn by grief and suspicion after a house is destroyed by fire and a mother and her three little daughters perish. Only the girls' father, the local GP Tom, survives. The investigation suggests that the inferno was no accident. But who could think of hurting the seemingly perfect and well-loved family? The community becomes riven with mistrust as those closest to the family begin to question everything they thought they knew about their friends. Laying bare the fragility of trust and the corrosive nature of lies, the series demonstrates that even the closest of friends have their secrets.

Deadwater Fell will air on Mondays at 22.10 on DR1.
