AUSTRALIA: New David Tennant Drama ‘Deadwater Fell’ Premieres On BBC First Tonight

The dark UK series Deadwater Fell premieres on BBC First in Australia tonight at 8.30pm. The gripping four-part psychological drama was created by Daisy Coulam and stars David Tennant as Tom Kendrick, a respected GP in a close Scottish community, whose family die tragically in a house fire which was started deliberately. Deadwater Fell aired on Channel 4 in the UK during January.

Deadwater Fell
When a seemingly perfect and happy family is murdered by someone they know and trust, the small Scottish community they call home becomes riven with mistrust and suspicion as those closest to the family begin to question everything they thought they knew about their friends. Deadwater Fell examines in unflinching detail the nature of female friendship and the harmful, entrenched gender stereotypes and conformity that can lead to the most devastating consequences. Laying bare the fragility of trust and the corrosive nature of lies, the series demonstrates that even the closest of friends all have their secrets.
Anna Madeley, Matthew McNulty and Cush Jumbo also star.

Deadwater Fell will continue air on Thursdays at 8.30pm on BBC First and will also be available to stream on Foxtel Now from that date.
