UK: Children In Need: Got It Covered Featuring David Tennant’s Cover Of The Proclaimers Is Out Now

BBC Children In Need's fundraising album Got It Covered is released in stores and online today. The brand new venture involves some of the UK’s biggest names from stage and screen as they band together to produce an entire album of cover songs whilst helping to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK. David Tennant is one of the stars taking to the studio to record a song as his contribution to the project.

This incredibly exciting venture from BBC One and BBC Children in Need also involves Helena Bonham Carter CBE, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman CBE, Shaun Dooley, Luke Evans, Suranne Jones, Adrian Lester OBE, Himesh Patel and Jodie Whittaker. The album of cover songs aims to help make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.

Each track was carefully crafted and recorded at the legendary recording studios, Abbey Road and Rak Studios in London, whilst the actors received expert guidance and mentoring from Brit and Mercury award-winning record producers and songwriters, Guy Chambers and Jonathan Quarmby. With over 20 years of industry experience, veteran vocal coach Mark De-Lisser also came on board to help the actors produce their tracks.

Full album track list is as follows:

All profits will go to BBC Children in Need, with a minimum of £1.50 per album (charity number 802052 in England & Wales and SC039557 in Scotland).
