David Tennant Is Named As The UK’s Hardest Working Actor

David Tennant has been named as the hardest working actor in the UK according to a new study carried out by BritBox.

The study, led by statistician Geoff Ellis, looked at the UK’s top 100 film and TV and stars who have either won or been nominated for a Bafta or National Television Award in the last decade and who were then analysed on factors such as versatility in acting genres and number of appearances on screen.
Others in the top ten included Martin Clunes, Sir David Jason, Olivia Colman, Dame Julie Walters, Derek Jacobi, Dame Judi Dench, James Nesbitt, Steve Coogan and Sean Bean.
Sean Bean was also ranked as having the most star power, followed by Sir David Jason. Martin Clunes and Dame Helen Mirren were declared as the most versatile actors.
David Tennant will soon be seen back on screen in Channel 4 Thriller Deadwater Fell and a second series of the BBC comedy drama There She Goes.
