The complete series of Twenty Twelve and W1A are now available to watch for free via the BBC iPlayer platform for viewers in the UK.

David Tennant provides a tongue in cheek voice over for both of the spoof documentaries which follow Hugh Bonneville’s character, Ian Fletcher, across his career in planning for the London 2012 Olympics and then as the BBC’s Head Of Values.

Both series were written and created by John Morton and feature a stellar cast including Jessica Hynes, Olivia Colman, Jason Watkins, Monica Dolan, Sarah Parish, Nina Sosanya, Sara Pascoe and Rufus Jones.

Twenty Twelve

Description

Hosting the 2012 Olympics is a big deal for London, as evidenced by this comedy series, originally broadcast by the BBC, which follows the Olympic Deliverance team -- the people tasked with having the two-week event go off without a problem. The team has plenty of time before the deadline and 9 billion pounds to spend, so what could possibly go wrong? The team members do their best to get to the end of the day, the end of the week and, hopefully, the end of the Olympics without everything coming undone. Can they do it?

W1A

Description

With the London Olympics of 2012 now in the rearview mirror, Ian Fletcher starts the next chapter of his life as the head of values for the BBC. His task: to clarify and define the core purpose of the network across all of its functions and to position it for the future. While Fletcher's job is to think `big' thoughts he quickly realises that not only does he not have time to think `big' thoughts, but he doesn't have time to think any thoughts at all while he prepares BBC for its upcoming licence fee renegotiation and charter renewal.
