BBC Radio 4 Extra continues repeating the whole of the first series of Dixon Of Dock Green over the course of the next few days. Episode 3: Crawford’s First Pinch airs today with broadcasts at 6am, 1pm, 8pm and 1am.
In today’s episode some unsavoury postcards turn up on the Dock Green beat and the link to a recent spate of bicycle thefts makes Andy desperate to notch up his first arrest.
Dixon Of Dock Green was first broadcast in 2005. It stars David Calder as PC George Dixon and David Tennant as PC Andy Crawford. It was adapted by Sue Rodwell from the original TV scripts by Ted Willis
