David Tennant narrates a brand new documentary for BBC Scotland which goes behind the scenes of The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and takes a look at the lives of the young patients and the staff who care for them. The heart warming eight part series, The Children’s Hospital, continues this evening on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.
In tonight’s episode a 15-month-old is rushed into the hospital suffering from serious burns after pouring a cup of coffee over himself. Meanwhile, seven year-old Davie from Shetland finally reaches the final stages of his cancer treatment, and 10-year-old Ava is scheduled to have an elective bladder operation, but staff struggle to find a free bed for her..
