Rooster Teeth’s animated sci fi series gen:LOCK is now available on VOD across various streaming platforms including iTunes, Amazon, Vaduz, FandangoNow, Playstation and Xbox.
The mecha anime is set in a dystopian future where battles are fought using giant armoured robots. David Tennant stars as Dr. Rufus "Doc" Weller, the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology, the next generation of mecha. Michael B Jordan voices Julian Chase, one of a diverse group of young pilots controlling the weapons.
The cast also includes Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, Kōichi Yamadera, Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.
The series is also set to premiere on Adult Swim in the USA on Saturday 3rd August as part of their Toonami block and it will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on 1st October.
