A new illustrated edition of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is to be released in the Autumn. David Tennant portrayed the role of Barty Crouch Jr in the 2005 movie adaptation of the book.

First Promotional Image From Deadwater Fell Released As The Series Features At MIPCOM

The first promotional image of David Tennant and Cush Jumbo in character for their new Channel 4 drama, Deadwater Fell, has been released as the series is featured at MIPCOM this week. 

MIPCOM is the world's most anticipated entertainment content market, allowing TV execs to network and to screen and buy new content for broadcasters around the world. The event takes place from the 14th - 17th October at Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

Deadwater Fell is expected to air in the UK on Channel 4 from January 2020. Presentation at MIPCOM will increase the possibility of other territories worldwide screening the dramas. 

Endemol Shine International boss Cathy Payne says the excellent cast will help attract further broadcasters “They’re a really strong cast in what some people might think is a domestic UK show. Being able to attract a cast at that level really brings in that interest,” she says.

The longlists for this year’s National Television Awards have been released and Good Omens is nominated in the Best Comedy category.


David Tennant stars as fast-living demon Crowley opposite Michael Sheen as fussy angel Aziraphale in the six-part Amazon Prime series which was adapted from the beloved book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It was produced by Neil Gaiman and directed by Douglas Mackinnon. Set in 'a nostalgic present' Good Omens sees the Earth hurtling towards the Apocalypse, with the forces of Heaven and Hell massing for the final battle. However, an angel and a demon who have dwelt among humanity since The Beginning are determined that they won't give up their comfortable existance and form an alliance to stop the world ending. Their plan is to destroy the Antichrist...if only they han't mislaid him. The series also stars Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Jack Whitehall, Nina Sonanya, Michael McKean and Josie Lawrence.

David Tennant’s Kilgrave Costume To Go Up For Sale In Jessica Jones Props Auction

One of the costumes worn by David Tennant when he played Kilgrave in the Netflix series Marvel’s Jessica Jones is to go up for sale in an auction of props later this year.
The suit, which was worn by David in the police station scene during the first season of the show, is one of a collection of costumes to be featured in the sale, others include lead actress Krysten Ritter’s iconic leather jacket and jeans and her memorable yellow dress. Other props for sale are Jessica's camera and business cards for her private detective agency. 
The auction will take place on as yet to be confirmed date in December and bids will be taken at the LA based Prop Store Auction House as well as online using the live stream feature.

David Tennant Stars In Children In Need: Got It Covered Coming To BBC One

A behind the scenes look at the making of the new Children In Need charity album, Got It Covered, is coming to BBC One on Wednesday 30th October at 7.30pm and will feature David Tennant as he records his version of The Proclaimers hit, Sunshine On Leith. 

This incredibly exciting venture from BBC One and BBC Children in Need also involves Helena Bonham Carter CBE, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman CBE, Shaun Dooley, Luke Evans, Suranne Jones, Adrian Lester OBE, Himesh Patel and Jodie Whittaker. The album of cover songs aims to help make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK. 


The special 90-minute programme will follow the entire recording process and explore all the behind-the-scenes action, as the actors face the challenging task of laying down their bespoke tracks at the legendary recording studios RAK and Abbey Road Studios in London.

Earlier this month at New York Comic-Con, Titan Comics revealed details of the second series of Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor, which launches in January 2020. Bursting straight out of the long-running hit television series, the comic series continues the time-travelling tales of the Doctor and friends. During the reveal they also announced that in the first Year 2 adventure, Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor will be joined by the Tenth Doctor, as played in the TV series by David Tennant.
