As Good Omens fans worldwide wait with baited breath for the TV series official trailer, showrunner Neil Gaiman has at last revealed the identity of the actor playing Death. The award winning Scottish actor Brian Cox will be voicing the leader of the Four Riders of the Apocalypse in all of his capitalised glory when the six-part series drops on Amazon Prime in May.
Death: "DON’T THINK OF IT AS DYING. JUST THINK OF IT AS LEAVING
EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH."
Cox joins David Tennant as the fast-living demon Crowley and Michael Sheen as fussy angel Aziraphale in the much-anticipated series based on the novel Good Omens written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Other cast members include Adria Arjona, Miranda Richardson, Michale McKean, Daniel Mays Jack Whitehall, Josie Lawrence, Jon Hamm and Anna Maxwell Martin, with a voice cast including Benedict Cumberbatch as Satan and Fraces McDormand as God.
The show's first official trailer will land tomorrow afternoon. Good Omens will launch worldwide on Amazon Prime on Friday 31st May. Good Omens is a co-production between Amazon Prime and BBC Studios with The Blank Corporation and Narrativia.
So for anybody wondering... The amazing Brian Cox plays Death in #GoodOmens. This is what Death looks like, when he's not on a motorbike anyway. (Watch the trailer tomorrow.) pic.twitter.com/ARmFMM97uc— Neil Gaiman (@neilhimself) March 5, 2019
