CANADA: DuckTales - What Ever Happened To Della Duck?! premieres On Disney Channel Today

A new episode of Disney's animated series DuckTales airs on the Disney Channel in Canada this morning with the premiere of What Ever Happened to Della Duck?! at 9.30am ET. The episode is repeated this afternoon at 3.30pm.

Della Duck is the twin sister of Donald Duck and long-lost mother to Huey, Dewey and Louie. In the first season of the show, the boys discovered the truth behind their mother’s disappearance when Scrooge revealed that Della took his secret rocket ship, got caught in a cosmic storm and became lost in the dark abyss before the triplets were hatched. In the cliffhanger season one finale, a destroyed rocket ship appears on the moon, and, as the screen pans in, Della can be seen longing for her sons while watching a newscast on an old television screen.

The new episode sees Della struggle for survival against dangerous elements of the Moon, as she looks for a way to get back to her family on Earth. Criminal Minds star Paget Brewster voices the role of Della. The rebooted 1980s show DuckTales stars David Tennant in the iconic role of Scrooge McDuck, with Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan voicing the mischievous triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie. Regular cast also includes Kate Micucci as Webby, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs Beakley, Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck.
