FRANCE: Marvel's Jessica Jones Launches On TF1 Séries Films Tonight



TV viewers in France will be able to watch David Tennant's 2015 series Marvel's Jessica Jones from this evening when the first season launches on TF1 Séries Films. Previously available exclusively through Netflix, the thirteen part adaptation of the Alias comic book series stars Krysten Ritter as the titular Jones, superhero-turned-detective with David as her nemesis Kilgrave. Marvel's Jessica Jones was created by Melissa Rosenberg and produced by ABC and Marvel Studios for Netflix.

Still in recovery after being abducted and abused by mind-controlling villain Kilgrave, former superhero Jessica Jones has set up a detective agency in New York's Hell's Kitchen. Jones acts as a champion for those in need, self-medicating her own PTSD with alcohol. But her fragile world is rocked when Kilgrave reappears, intent on carrying on where he left off. 
The series also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Rachael Taylor and Mike Colter. 

The first three episodes will air on TF1 Séries Films from 21.00

21.50 Episode 2: AKA Le syndrome d'écrasement (AKA Crush Syndrome)
22.50 Episode 3: AKA Grâce au whisky (AKA It's Called Whisky)

David Tennant's appearances are fleeting in the first three episodes, but his character becomes more central as the series continues with the next three episodes on March 1st.
