David Tennant Features In gen:LOCK Official Trailer - Series Launches On January 26th



Coming soon from Rooster Teeth, animated sci-fi series gen:LOCK stars Michael B Jordan, Dakota Fanning, David Tennant and Maisie Williams as members of a team fighting to defend the Earth from a totalitarian force. Watch the first offical trailer here:



The anime style series gen:LOCK is set in a dystopian future fifty years from now. Earth’s last free society is on the losing side of a global war. where conflict is settled by battles using giant robotic armour. A daring team is recruited to pilot a new form of weaponised neuroscience that powers devastating mecha, but they must be willing to sacrifice everything to save the world. Dr. Weller, voiced by David Tennant, is the leader of the Experimental Science Unit, and the inventor of this new 'gen:LOCK' technology, which is controlled by a diverse team of young pilots. Michael B. Jordan voices main character Julian Chase, Dakota Fanning plays mech pilot Miranda Worth, Kōichi Yamadera voices new recruit Kazu Iida and Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon voice field agents Yasamin "Yaz" Madrani and Valentina “Val” Romanyszyn

The first two episodes of gen:LOCK will premiere on Saturday 26th January. The series is available exclusively on Rooster Teeth's online subscription network FIRST via www.roosterteeth.com. FIRST can be accessed on a free 30 day trial but then costs $4.99 per month.
