VIDEO & PHOTOS: First Teaser Trailer For Good Omens Released

Amazon Prime Video has dropped the first official trailer for the hotly anticipated six part series Good Omens. The adaptation of the cherished comic novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen in the lead roles of Crowley and Aziraphale and is set to premiere in early 2019.

Adapted and produced by Neil Gaiman himself, Good Omens follows a fast living demon called Crowley (David Tennant) and a fussy angel called Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) who have been up on Earth amongst humanity since The Beginning and who have formed an alliance over the 6000 years that they've known each other. They have both become rather fond of the comfortable lives they've built for themselves, so when they get wind that they forces of Heaven and Hell are looking to kick start Armageddon they decide to team up to prevent the end of everything they know and love. The first step is to prevent the Antichrist from coming into his full powers...the only problem being that they've misplaced him...

Good Omens was directed by Douglas Mackinnon and also stars Miranda Richardso as Madame Tracy, Michael McKean as Shadwell, Jack Whitehall as Newt Pulsifer, Adria Arjona as Anathema Device and Sam Taylor Buck as Adam Young. The worldwide launch on Amazon Prime in early 2019 will be followed by broadcast on BBC Two.
