New from web-based entertainment company Rooster Teeth, gen:LOCK is an animated mecha series set in a dystopian future where conflict is settled by battles using giant weaponised robotic armour. Earth’s last free society is on the losing side of a global war. Dr. Weller, the leader of the Experimental Science Unit, is the inventor of the 'gen:LOCK' technology, the next generation of mecha, controlled by a diverse team of young pilots. Michael B. Jordan voices main character Julian Chase, Dakota Fanning plays mech pilot Miranda Worth, Kōichi Yamadera voices new recruit Kazu Iida and Golshifteh Farahani and Asia Kate Dillon voice field agents Yasamin "Yaz" Madrani and Valentina “Val” Romanyszyn. gen:LOCK is created by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, and is being co-produced by Jordan through his own company Outlier Society Productions.

Set for release on 26th January 2018, gen:LOCK will premiere exclusively on Rooster Teeth's online subscription network FIRST via www.roosterteeth.com. FIRST is available on a free 30 day trial but then costs $4.99 per month.
