Meet The Characters From David Tennant's New US Comedy Camping

With just ten days to go until David Tennant's new comedy series Camping premieres on HBO in the USA and Canada, take a look at the main players in this hilarious new show...

Kathryn - Played by Jennifer Garner
Kathryn has planned a camping trip to celebrate her husband’s 45th birthday. Her life is consumed by catering to her Instagram followers and caring for her family.

Walt - Played by David Tennant
Walt is Kathryn’s husband and the only person capable of dealing with Kathryn’s neurosis — though it’s the root of their marriage troubles. He’s looking forward to cutting loose with his best friends and celebrate his 45th birthday.

Jandice - played by Juliette Lewis

A self-proclaimed peace maker, Jandice is often the root of chaos. Though not on the guestlist, Jandice makes plans to join the campout with her new boyfriend Miguel.

Miguel played by Arturo Del Puerto

Recently separated from his wife, Miguel has fallen hard and fast for Jandice, whose free-spirit is the perfect medicine for his heartbreak.

Carleen played by Ione Skye

Carleen is Kathryn’s doe-eyed sister. She struggles to find her voice and stand up to her controlling sister.

Nina-Joy played by Janicza Bravo

Nina-Joy is reluctantly accompanying her husband George on the camping trip after a recent disagreement with Kathryn.

George played by Brett Gelman

Though not the biggest fan of the outdoors, George is excited to go camping with his old college buddies — and perhaps fix his marriage in the process.

Camping premieres on HBO at 10pm on 14 October. The series follows  Kathryn and Walt, a not-so-happily married couple. A meticulously planned outdoor trip to celebrate Walt’s 45th birthday is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships.
