David Tennant has been in the Channel Islands this evening for a charity screening of his latest UK movie, You Me And Him in Saint Helier, Jersey. Alongside David at the red carpet event, which was held in aid of Baby Lifeline and the Baby Bean Appeal were co-stars Georgia Tennant (who also produced the film), Sally Philips, Christian Brassington and Tessie Orange-Turner and Daisy Aitkens, the writer and director.
Baby Lifeline is a charity supporting the care of pregnant mothers and their unborn and newborn babies. Tonight's screening was to raise funds to purchase a wireless fetal monitor for Jersey General Hospital. David, Sally and Daisy are all Baby Lifeline ambassadors and they spoke to ITV News Channel Islands about why they chose to support the charity and to bring the gala event to Jersey.

You Me And Him is a bittersweet romcom following the pregnancies of a same sex couple. David plays the couple's hipster neighbour who is responsible for one of the pregnancies. The film was released on 12th April in the UK but is still screening at selected locations. Check the @youmeandhimfilm Twitter feed for updates.
Following the screening Georgia and David took part in an Instagram Live video whilst Christian, who is currently starring in Poldark as Rev Ossie Whitworth, was answering fan's questions in a live Q&A. A fan recorded the video and you can watch it below:
