David Tennant Stars In The Muppets Take The O2 Tonight For One Night Only!

David Tennant is one of the celebrity guests set to be joining The Muppets tonight for their first ever live shows in the UK, The Muppets Take The O2. The live event, based on the iconic 1980s TV show, is being performed for the first time outside the USA following three sellout dates at the Hollywood Bowl last year

Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy lead Gonzo, Fozzie, the Swedish Chef, Animal and the gang as their most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational, full-length live show comes to Europe for three shows at London's O2 on 13th and 14th July. The Muppets will be joined by very special celebrity guests for musical performances, sketches and many, many more extraordinary surprises.

David Tennant will be one of the special guest stars taking part in the hilarity during this evening's show where he will appear in a new chapter of the classic Muppets sketch Pigs In Space.
Pop legend Kylie Minogue will also appear tonight and will take part in songs and sketches alongside comedian Kevin Bishop and actor Charles Dance.

Other guests joining the show over the weekend are classic Doctor Who actor Peter Davison, Last Leg host Adam Hills and pop superstars Steps, who will appear on Saturday night.

Tickets for the shows originally went on sale in February. Limited tickets are still available via the O2 website and other ticketing outlets.
