VIDEO: David Tennant Tells Viewers Of The Late Late Show With James Corden That Doctor Who Is "Intrinsically British"


David Tennant was a guest on the US chat show The Late Late Show With James Corden last night to promote his new movie, Bad Samaritan.

Whilst on the show host James, who guested as Craig Owens during the Matt Smith era of Doctor Who, asked David to explain the show for American viewers who might not be as familiar with it as a British audience.
David described the series as "intrinsically British", explaining "It’s got a Britishness to it that people just.. and that’s lovely to be in the middle of it. It feels like a big responsibility, you don’t want to break it. People love that show. It’s like PG Tips or marmalade it’s intrinsically British."

If you live in the UK, SKY One broadcasts a highlights show, The Late Late Show with James Corden: Best of the Week, with new episodes on Tuesdays from 10pm, which are then repeated through the week. David’s interview is expected to be included in the show airing from Tuesday 8th May.

UK SKY and Now TV subscribers should also be able to stream the full episode via SKY Box Sets later today.

Viewers in Australia can watch full episodes of The Late Late Show on Channel 11 from 11.45pm the day after they premiere in the USA. David’s show should air in the evening of Wednesday 2nd May.

Fans in Germany can watch on Pro Sieben Fun at 00.10 late on Wednesday 2nd May/ early on Thursday 3rd May. 


Bad Samaritan is in theaters in the USA and Canada from May 4.
