Gudrun The Viking Princess, Narrated By David Tennant, Wins At RTS Scotland Awards


Gudrun The Viking Princess, narrated by David Tennant has scooped the RTS Scotland Award in the Children's category.

The enchanting CBeebies series, beautifully filmed in stunning Scottish surroundings, provides inspirational starting points for ways to connect young children with the wild environment as well as introducing the historical Viking period in a simple, charming and totally captivating way. The series is produced by Marakids, the specialist children’s TV production arm of award-winning wildlife documentary makers Maramedia.

The RTS Scotland Awards cover all forms of production in Scotland, recognising and celebrating excellence and innovation across a wide range of genres and crafts.


Gudrun The Viking Princess is expected to return to CBeebies with new episodes later this year.
