David Tennant And Catherine Tate Reunite For New Sky One Comedy Drama Americons

David Tennant and Catherine Tate are to reunite for a new Sky One comedy drama, reports Deadline.
The former Doctor Who co stars will team up for Americons, which boasts a script written by Catherine and which will be produced by Jane Tranter and Julie Gardener's production company Bad Wolf.

The show is thought to be in the advanced stages of development and will follow a couple, played by David and Catherine, as they move to America.

The pair first starred together in Doctor Who as the Tenth Doctor and his companion Donna Noble and have gone on to work together treading the boards as Benedick and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing in London's West End and most recently both voicing characters in Disney's rebooted DuckTales.
