David Tennant took to the stage at Towne 3 Cinemas in San Jose last night to introduce an advanced screening of his new movie Bad Samaritan. The event was hosted by Legion M, the world's first fan-owned entertainment company, and the audience was largely made up of attendees at this weekend's Silicon Valley Comic Con, which is currently running at the nearby San Jose Convention Center. The movie's producer and director, Dean Devlin, was also there to present Bad Samaritan to excited film fans.
You can watch David's intro here:
Bad Samaritan is a terrifying cautionary tale of two thieves, played by Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero, uncovering more than what they bargained for when breaking into a house they thought would be an easy score. After making a shocking discovery, they must choose to run and hide, or face the killer whose dark secrets they have exposed.
David Tennant plays Cale Erendreich, a role that may turn out to be one of his most terrifying yet. On the surface, Cale is a wealthy, successful and fairly ordinary guy, but it soon emerges that he is anything but! Bad Samaritan was written by Brandon Boyce and also stars Kerry Condon and Jacqueline Byers.
Watch Bad Samaritan in theaters across the USA from May 4th
