Dean Devlin, the acclaimed Hollywood producer and director, is the latest name to be joining the line up of Silicon Valley Comic Con this coming weekend. Dean is one of the creative forces behind David Tennant's new movie release Bad Samaritan, which opens in theaters across the USA on May 4th. As previously announced, David will also be appearing at the convention on Saturday and Sunday.
Dean will take part in a panel in partnership with fan-owned entertainment company Legion M to talk about how he has been exploring alternative film and TV-making approaches to the Hollywood studio system.The panel will also give fans an exclusive insider look at Bad Samaritan.

producer-director Dean Devlin is partnering with fans to reshape the future of
Hollywood. Writer/director/producer Dean Devlin has helped create some of the
biggest hits in Hollywood, generating billions of dollars of box office around
the globe. For his newest film starring David Tennant, Bad Samaritan, Dean partnered with fan-owned Legion M to get his most
important audience - fans - in on the action. Dean joins Legion M co-founders
Paul Scanlan and Jeff Annison for an inside look at Bad Samaritan plus a candid
discussion about the evolution of the studio system, and how the future of
Hollywood is indeed fans.
Bad Samaritan focuses on a pair of petty thieves, played by Robert Sheehan and Carlito Olivero, who make a huge mistake when they target the wrong house and find a girl chained up and gagged in the office. But when they try to inform the police, all they achieve is to attract the attention of the psychotic homeowner, played by David, who won't rest until he has his revenge on them.
