David Tennant's Romeo Costume To Go On Display In RSC Exhibition This Summer


David Tennat's Romeo costume from the RSC's 2000 production of Romeo and Juliet will be going on display as part of the company's The Play's The Thing exhibition this summer.
You will also get the chance to explore the play's set design via the interactive Director's Desk feature.


The Play's The Thing is the RSC's award winning interactive exhibition which explores over 100 years of theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.  On display are stunning costumes and props from the archives as well as a rare copy of Shakespeare's first folio.

David Tennant opened in the role of Romeo, opposite Alexandra Gilbreath as Juliet, at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on 5th July 2000. The production was directed by Michael Boyd. The play also went on tour to London and Newcastle.
