RUMOUR: David Tennant In Talks Over 'Pinter At The Pinter' Theatre Season

Entertainment columnist Baz Bamigboye claims that David Tennant is among a number of actors currently in talks over a proposed tribute to Harold Pinter, set to take place later this year. A season of the late playwright's one act plays is planned for the Harold Pinter Theatre (formerly the Comedy Theatre) to run during late August to September 2018.

Also reported to be in talks for 'Pinter At The Pinter' are Jane Horrocks, David Suchet and Iwan Rheon. Director Jamie Lloyd is also thought to have been approached, as has writer and director Patrick Marber, who directed David last year in the revival of his own play Don Juan In Soho.

Pinter's widow, Lady Antonia Fraser, is behind the season and it is understood that the plays will include Celebration, A Kind Of Alaska, Mountain Language, Victoria Station, The Dumb Waiter, Night School and A Slight Ache.

So far nothing has been confirmed, but if there are any updates we will share them as soon as we know anything.
