UK Premiere: DuckTales Starring David Tennant As Scrooge McDuck Launches In The UK Today!

David Tennant stars as Scrooge McDuck in the new series of DuckTales, launching in the UK today! The first episode, an hour long special called Woo-oo! premieres on the UK's Disney Channel from 9.30am, repeating at 3pm.

The all-new adventure sees the Duck clan reunited as Donald Duck is forced to leave his mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie with his estranged uncle, the daredevil trillionaire Scrooge McDuck while he looks for work. Having the younger members of the family around re-awakens the spirit of adventure in Scrooge and before long the whole family are plunged into a world of danger...

 Based on the Emmy Award-winning series treasured by a generation of viewers, Disney XD's animated comedy-adventure series DuckTales chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg's most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck (David Tennant) his mischief-making triplet grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie (Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan), temperamental nephew Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo) and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack (Beck Bennett), no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley (Toks Olagundoye) and Mrs. Beakley's granddaughter, Webby (Kate Micucci).

In a preview clip, Scrooge, Launchpad, the nephews and Webby embark on trek to find the lost city of Atlantis, asking the age old question: 'Are we there yet?'
