Call Of Duty WWII: Nazi Zombies Feat David Tennant Released Today

David Tennant is one of the voice stars of the Nazi Zombies game mode of the brand new Sledgehammer Games release Call Of Duty: WWII. The game is the fourteenth installment of the first-person shooter franchise and is released worldwide for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows today.

While the main game will be set within the Second World War, the Zombies game mode is set in an alternate history with its own storyline, where the Allied Forces are battling a zombie army created by the Third Reich. The developers describe it as more gruesome and terrifying than ever before as the dark and chilling mode heads in a unique new direction with the addition of Co-Op mode.

David takes on the role of Drostan Hynd. Prof. Hynd, is an antiquities expert and former art thief given the choice to come out of prison on the understanding that he'll work for the good guys.

During the summer's San Diego Comic Con panel David spoke more about Prof. Hynd
"He has a tartan cap. Because I'm Scottish," David said, "He swears a lot, an awful lot! It's full of bad language, this game, I'm terribly shocked!" Cameron Dayton pointed out that most of the swearing came 'so naturally from David' during the session. David argued that he was invited to bring an authentic Scottish feel, so brought some of his experience of growing up in Paisley and did "...a little bit of improvisational cursing".

Players will embark on a chilling, dark and mysterious journey through a snowy Bavarian village in Mittelburg, Germany, as they attempt to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Axis powers in World War II. This village holds a shadowy secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power.  Beware of the twisted fate and dire consequences from the occult horrors awaiting any visitors...
