To celebrate this week's New York Comic Con, Marvel have released a batch of posters for their upcoming shows and included is one for Season 2 of Jessica Jones which will be coming to Netflix in 2018.
In August it was announced that despite Kilgrave facing the ultimate ending in Season One of the show, David Tennant would in fact be back and will feature in the second season of the drama.
Although they released photos of David on set this summer, Marvel have not confirmed specific details of how many episodes he will appear in. Fans of the show will know that his character, Kilgrave, met a grisly end at the hands of Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, in the season one finale and so speculation has been rife as to how he will play a part in Jessica's future, whether he survived, whether he will be seen in flash backs or is he haunting his killer?
The new season is rumoured to look back on Jessica's childhood and the loss of her parents, how she recovered from the accident that led to their death and how she developed her super powers as a result. Jessica will enlist the help of her best friend Trish as they investigate IGH. The group was previously revealed to have financed all of Jessica's operations and hospital bills. After the accident and subsequent treatment, it became apparent that Jessica was no longer the same. She had superpowers and the only explanation she can think of is that IGH did something to her body whilst she was in a coma. Trish will help dig out the truth as she already suspects that the organization that changed Will (Wil Traval) into a super soldier had something to do with Jessica's transformation as well.
Season One of Jessica Jones is streaming now on Netflix.
