Sally Taylor, chair of The Breast Cancer Haven Development
Board said, “We have been thrilled with the response we have received for this
event. The general tickets were sold within 48 hours and we have a waiting
list. We are so pleased to be able to offer these new tickets but they will
disappear very quickly and so I would strongly recommend booking early to avoid
disappointment.”
The Murray Parish Trust is a charity set up by David's friends, actress Sarah
Parish and her husband, actor James Murray who founded the charity after they
lost their first daughter Ella-Jayne to a congenital heart defect. It supports
the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton.
Breast Cancer Haven is the UK’s only national charity that
specialises in offering a free programme of personalised specialist help and
support to anyone affected by breast cancer. The centre in Titchfield gives
access to counsellors, therapists and health professionals.
Sarah Parish said of the event: "We are so lucky to
have such big names supporting this event and we will be doing everything we
can to ensure that this will be a night to remember to raise as much funds as
possible for these two incredible local charities."
David said, “I am thrilled to be able to help with this
incredible event. As soon as my friend, actress, Sarah Parish asked,
I was in! I will play my part in making sure this will be a night to remember
for everyone who attends and for these two very important local charities.”
