The eagerly anticipated Call Of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies will feature Doctor Who Easter Eggs in a a quiet nod to David Tennant who stars in the game in the role of Drostan Hynd.
Prof. Hynd, is an antiquities expert and former art thief given the choice to come out of prison on the understanding that he'll work for the good guys. David, of course, previously starred as the Tenth Doctor in the BBC sci fi drama, Doctor Who.
Sledgehammer Games’ creative director Cameron Dayton told ComicBook.com
"Yeah, when we decided to go real-world with grounded characters, we can't see [David Tennant] pulling out a sonic screwdriver and talking about the Time Lords. However, there are some subtle nods and very hidden Easter Eggs that could certainly be construed in certain ways. That's as far as I'm gonna get into it, but I have no doubt that the fans will find and catch and broadcast those when they find them."
Call Of Duty: WWII will be released worldwide on 3rd November on Playstation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
