The winners of the Sunday Herald 2017 Scottish Culture
Awards will be revealed tonight, celebrating the best of Scotland’s arts and
cultural scene. The award-winning broadcaster and writer Janice Forsyth
announces the results at a ceremony held at SWG3 in Glasgow.
David Tennant has nominated for a Best Actor award in the TV
Actor category alongside Douglas Henshall, Martin Compston and Morven Christie.
The Sunday Herald Culture Awards, in association with Edinburgh Napier University, are now in their second year and hold a spotlight up to the best of Scottish talent. The 2017 shortlist includes 140 nominees across 15 categories, including acting, dance, visual arts, writing and design.
