David Tennant will be talking to Richard Arnold on ITV’s
Good Morning Britain this morning about lending his voice to the new animated
kids' movie, Fireman Sam: Alien Alert. David recorded the interview in
late May ahead of the film’s release this weekend.
The pre-school hero Fireman Sam celebrates his 30th anniversary with a brand
new feature-length special, out in selected UK cinemas on June 17th. David
voices a new character, the comedic villain Buck Douglas, a TV personality who
will stop at nothing to promote himself and his show. The adventure, which also
features the voices of Steve Kynman and Tegwen Tucker, sees Pontypandy hit by a
raft of UFO sightings. Norman's TV hero Buck Douglas arrives in town to track
down the aliens for his show Alien Quest. Meanwhile Sam is determined to get to
the bottom of the mystery.
David's interview is scheduled to be broadcast after 7am BST this morning. This was the feature originally scheduled for Tuesday morning.
