David Tennant Interviews The Proclaimers For BBC TV Scotland Documentary

David Tennant has interviewed Craig and Charlie Reid, better known as The Proclaimers, as part of a BBC TV Scotland special. Next Thursday, 27th April, marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the band's debut studio album This Is The Story, and BBC Scotland have commissioned a documentary to celebrate the recording.

David is one of the band's biggest fans and wrote the sleeve notes to their 2012 Best Of... compilation in which he stated, "I fell in love with this music and this odd, unstyled, unlikely duo with a passion that has never dimmed to this day. Nobody else sounds like The Proclaimers and nobody else writes songs like these."

This Is The Story features some of the bands most loved tunes, including Throw The R Away and the classic Letter From America.

Broadcast date and time are to be confirmed; we'll let you all know as soon as we find out.
