David Tennant was interviewed by Clive Anderson on the Radio 4 show Loose Ends yesterday evening. During the conversation David talked about playing R.D. Laing in the new feature film Mad To Be Normal, which is based on the infamous Scottish psychiatrist's life. He also spoke about his new play, Don Juan In Soho, which opened at Wyndhams Theatre last Tuesday, and the impact that Doctor Who continues to have on his life.
Mad To Be Normal, co-starring Elisabeth Moss, Michael Gambon and Gabriel Byrne, opens in cinemas nationally on Thursday 6th April on a limited release. Visit www.madtobenormalmovie.com for screening dates and to buy tickets.
Don Juan In Soho, written by Patrick Marber, loosely based on Molière's tragicomedy 'Don Juan', sees the tale updated to contemporary London and follows the final adventures of its debauched protagonist - a cruel seducer who lives only for pleasure. The play runs until June 10th and tickets may be bought from www.donjuaninsoho.com.
