UK RATINGS: Broadchurch Continues To Rule TV Ratings For Monday Nights



The third series of Broadchurch continues to top the UK TV ratings with episode 4 the most watched TV show on Monday night. The episode was seen by 7.34 million people, 33.5% of viewers watching at the time. 

At the same time, BBC One's Crimewatch was being watched by 2.4m (11.1%), The Natural World on BBC Two was watched by 1.49m (6.8%), Channel 4's 24 Hours In A&E was seen by 1.4m (6.2%) while Inside King's Cross on Channel 5 attracted 1m viewers (4.7%). 

In addition, BARB have published consolidated figures for the most watched programmes of the week ending Sunday 12th March which see the second episode of Broadchurch topping the list with 10.76 million viewers, beating all soaps and other popular shows such as Call The Midwife (10.54m) and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (7.92m).

The third and final series of Broadchurch sees David Tennant and Olivia Colman back as Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller as the detectives reunite to hunt down the perpetrator of a violent sexual crime. Julie Hesmondhalgh, Lenny Henry, Sarah Parish and Mark Bazeley also star. Episode 5 will air in the UK on Monday 27th March. The series is also currently showing in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
