AUDIO CLIP: David Tennant Tells Steve Wright About The Red Nose Day Auction

Today is Red Nose Day, the huge national fundraiser that will culminate with a night-long celeb-packed TV marathon beginning on BBC One at 7pm. All money raised goes to projects to help people in need in the UK and Africa.

Yesterday, David Tennant called up the BBC Radio 2 show Steve Wright In The Afternoon yesterday to spread the word about the amazing Doctor Who-related item that’s included in the Red Nose Day Best Auction Ever – a chance for a swanky breakfast at the Wolseley on Piccadilly with David and six other Doctors, past and present.

There are two ways to win a place and join Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi for the breakfast of a lifetime. Two places will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Two further places are available to the winners of a prize draw, the price of entry to which is a £5 donation to Comic Relief.

There's loads of other exclusive items up for grabs through the Red Nose Day Best Auction Ever, including a chance to own Ed Sheeran's guitar, a personal workout with Davina McCall and cakes made by Bake Off stars Mary Berry and Nadiya.
