AUDIO CLIP: David Tennant Talks Broadchurch 3 On Front Row

David Tennant appeared on BBC Radio 4 arts show Front Row this evening to talk about the new series of Broadchurch. Joining host John Wilson, David talked about the return of Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller for their final case together.

The new series sees the mismatched detectives on the hunt for the perpetrator of a serious sexual assault, and David talked about the immaculate research that Chris Chibnall had done in preparing his scripts. He also discussed the huge amount of secrecy surrounding the set and Chris Chibnall's new job as the showrunner of Doctor Who - although David refused to be drawn on the subject of Peter Capaldi's successor.

Broadchurch Series 3, starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Julie Hesmondhalgh and Lenny Henry, begins on ITV on Monday 27th February at 9pm GMT.
