UK TELEVISION: New Year's Day Premiere For What We Did On Our Holiday



The BBC Films comedy What We Did On Our Holiday will premiere on terrestrial TV in the UK on January 1st 2017 at 10.00pm GMT on BBC Two. David Tennant stars with Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly in the debut feature film from the team behind the award winning UK sitcom Outnumbered.

Doug (David Tennant) and Abi (Rosamund Pike) and their three children travel to the Scottish Highlands for Doug's father Gordie's (Billy Connolly) birthday party. It's soon clear that when it comes to keeping a secret under wraps from the rest of the family, their children are their biggest liability. But when the clan find themselves in the depths of a new crisis, can they hold it together to protect all that is dear to them? Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore and Celia Imrie also star.

Written and directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, What We Did On Our Holiday is a heart-warming, uplifting comedy for all the family.
