David Tennant will be the first guest star on the new series of The Last Leg when it returns to its regular Friday night slot on 27th January 2017. Host Adam Hills made the announcement at the climax of tonight's Christmas show which saw him and co-hosts Josh Widdecombe and Alex Brooker joined by Grayson Perry, Aisling Bea and Basil Brush.
Channel 4's award-winning topical comedy talk show, The Last Leg launched in 2012 as a parallel show to the London Paralympics, but it now has a broader current affairs remit. It also has a reputation for social justice and for bringing disability humour to the forefront, as hosts Hills and Brooker poke fun at their own disabilities.
David, who is currently in the middle of shooting the Dean Devlin-directed thriller Bad Samaritan in the USA, will be talking about the new series of ITV crime drama Broadchurch, due to start in early 2017. David will also be preparing for his return to the West End stage in the lead role in Patrick Marber's Don Juan in Soho.
