BBC America is celebrating the US TV premiere of the Second Doctor animated series Doctor Who: The Power Of The Daleks with a day long Dalek marathon next weekend. From 9am ET on Saturday 19th November the network will be airing the finest Nu-Who episodes featuring the Doctor's most fearsome foe. The marathon includes the David Tennant double episodes Daleks In Manhattan / Evolution of the Daleks and The Stolen Earth / Journey's End, as well as the Season 2 finale Doomsday. Also featured are episodes starring Tom Baker, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi.
The brand new animated restoration of the lost Doctor Who TV series, The Power Of The Daleks is a joint venture by BBC America and BBC Worldwide. The animation has been based around the original audio recordings of the classic six-part Doctor adventure and stars Patrick Troughton, Anneke Wills and Michael Craze. Following the regeneration - or 'renewal' as it was then termed - of the First Doctor (William Hartnell), the Time Lord brings his companions Ben and Polly to an Earth colony on the planet Vulcan.
