BROADCHURCH: Casualty's Sunetra Sarker Joins Series 3 Cast

Sunetra Sarker, who played Zoe Hanna in BBC medical series Casualty, is the latest star spotted filming on the set of Broadchurch. The third series of the award-winning drama is currently in production in the West Country and Sunetra was spotted in a scene with Jodie Whittaker, who plays grieving mother Beth Latimer.

David Tennant and Olivia Colman are returning to the roles of Detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller for the final series of Broadchurch, which will be a standalone storyline focusing on a serious sexual assault. Series creator Chris Chibnall has spent time working with specialist police advisors and support agencies to ensure that the story line is accurate and sensitively handled.

Other returning cast members include Arthur Darvill, Carolyn Pickles and Andrew Buchan. They'll be joined on set by Sir Lenny Henry, Roy Hudd, Julie Hesnondhalgh, Georgina Campbell, Charlie Higson and Jim Howick.

The series is expected to premiere on ITV early in 2017.
