JAPAN: What We Did On Our Holiday Screened For Free During Tokyo Cinema Event

David Tennant's comedy feature What We Did On Our Holiday will be screened for free in Tokyo next weekend as part of a free cinema event. The film is one of nine movies selected for the Picnic Cinema festival at Ebisu's Garden Place, giving film fans the chance to see some top films out in the open air on a hot summer night. The screening takes place on Saturday 20th August from 7.30pm.

What We Did On Our Holiday
David Tennant stars as Doug McLeod in the bittersweet comedy from the makers of the UK sitcom Outnumbered, a beleaguered father in the midst of an acrimonious divorce from his wife Abi, played by Rosamund Pike. However, the couple decide to put on a united front to take their three lively children to Scotland to celebrate the birthday of Doug's dad Gordie (Billy Connolly). But while they worry that the kids might reveal the truth about their marital problems to the rest of the clan, an unexpected twist puts family relationships to the ultimate test.
