Vote For David Tennant In Radio Times Champion 2016 - Drama Round Now Open



It's that time of year agin, where fans of TV stars across the world are glued to their laptops and tablets trying to ensure that their personal idol is crowned Radio Times TV Champion. Each year, 512 stars face off over 8 categories across a series of head-to-head voting battles to whittle down the crowd to just one single winner. Will last year's champion Sam Heughan hang onto his title? Or will another contender snatch the prize away this year?

With the 2016 contest well underway, it's time for the heavy hitters of Drama to enter the fray. Previous Champion (2014) David Tennant enters the ring today in the first round of the Drama subcategory, matched up against Lauren Graham, star of Gilmore Girls and Parenthood. Other big names in the round include Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Aidan Turner. Drama Round 1 is open until 3pm BST on Wednesday 13th July.


The Radio Times TV Champion 2016 pits the biggest names in TV against one another to determine the winners in eight categories: Drama, Comedy, Reality TV, Factual, Entertainment, Soaps, SciFi & Fantasy and Online. Then the category champions face off in a series of thrilling final rounds through the final week of July to determine the eventual winner.
