Emmys Short List Announced Today - Will David Tennant's Kilgrave Be Nominated?

The Emmys shortlist is announced in Hollywood today. David Tennant is longlisted for his role as Kilgrave in Marvel's Jessica Jones in the Best Supporting Actor In A Drama Series category. Marvel's Jessica Jones itself is also longlisted for Outstanding Drama and the episodes " AKA Crush Syndrome" and "AKA Ladies Night" are  longlisted for the Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series category.
The resulting Emmy nominations will be announced this morning from the Wolf Theatre at its new Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, CA.

The 68th Emmy Awards, including the star-studded Red Carpet preshow, will telecast live from The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday 18th September (7:00-11:00 pm ET/4:00-8:00 pm PT) on ABC. Emmy Award-winning live television and event producer Don Mischer will executive produce the broadcast hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

David was awarded a Daytime Emmy in 2013 for his voice performance as Huyang in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and last year saw him on the longlists for both Gracepoint and Broadchurch.

Update: Sadly David Tennant was not nominated for an Emmy for his role as Kilgrave in Jessica Jones.
