The cast and crew of Broadchurch were back in West Bay today as filming on series 3 continues in the UK's West Country. The cameras were rolling in the Dorset resort which stands in for the titular seaside town, as David Tennant filmed scenes in a white chalet up on one of the cliffs.
Series 3 of the award-winning Broadchurch will see David Tennant and Olivia Colman returning to the roles of Detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller one last time This time they'll be investigating a serious sexual assault in a storyline that has seen series creator Chris Chibnall working closely with specialist police advisors and local support organisations who deal with the victims of sexual violence.
Other familiar faces set to return include Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan and Arthur Darvill. They'll be joined by newcomers Julie Hesmondhalgh, Georgina Campbell, Charlie Higson and Sir Lenny Henry. Broadchurch is expected to launch on ITV in the UK in early 2017.
