Scottish charity Erskine have tweeted a thank you for our current fundraiser which we launched last week in memory of David Tennant's father. The Very Reverend Dr. Sandy McDonald sadly passed away just over a week ago at the Erskine Care Home for ex-servicemen in Bishopton following a long battle with lung disease.
They said:
Erskine was set up in 1916 to care for those wounded in battle during the First World War. A hundred years later it is still providing support for veterans and is the leading care organisation for ex-Service men and women in Scotland.@davidtennantcom Many thanks for setting up https://t.co/tnCTpZWr7O to raise money for our #veterans. We are extremely touched by support.— Erskine (@Erskine1916) March 23, 2016
We would like to join Erskine in thanking the very generous fans who have donated to the fundraiser so far, allowing us to raise over £2000 in just over a week. If you haven't donated yet, there is still time to do so over this weekend.
