David Tennant's festive movie Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger! has its terrestrial TV premiere on BBC Two in the UK this Christmas. The film will be shown on Monday 21st December from 6.15pm GMT.
In the sequel to the 2009 musical comedy Nativity! David Tennant stars as primary school teacher Roderick Peterson while Marc Wootton reprises his role as anarchic classroom assistant Mr. Poppy. This year, Mr. Poppy hatches a plan to enter the kids of St. Bernadette's School in a national Song For Christmas competition. Of course it all goes horribly wrong. Not only do the class get stranded in Wales with a baby and a donkey, even if they do make it to the competition on time, they still have to compete against Mr. Peterson's estranged twin, a successful composer and conductor, also played by David.

Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger
Overanxious new supply teacher Mr. Peterson (David Tennant)
has enough on his plate with his wife (Joanna Page) being pregnant. But the
lovably rambunctious kids of St. Bernadette's primary school sweep him along
with enthusiasm as they gear up for another big contest. This time they're off
to Wales for a national choir competition under the banner 'A Song for
Christmas'. Their amphibious tour bus crammed full of angels and shepherds,
plus an unaccompanied baby, they hit the road without parental permission! But
their arch-rivals from the posh Oakmoor school are taking part too. What's
more, they face new challengers St. Cuthbert's School - led by Mr. Peterson's
golden boy twin brother! Jason Watkins, Jessica Hynes, Pam Ferris and Ian McNeice also star. The film was devised and directed by Debbie Isitt and improvised by the cast.
