Tickets to see David Tennant perform in Richard II at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in
New York have now gone on sale to the general public when bought as part of a
season subscription. Customers will need to buy tickets to four or more shows
from the BAM 2016 Winter / Spring season to be able to access the tickets.
Richard II will be staged next spring when the Royal Shakepeare Company's
tetralogy King and Country: Shakespeare’s Great Cycle of Kings transfers to the
USA following a winter run at the Barbican Theatre in London.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of four history plays - Richard II, Henry IV Parts 1 & 2 and Henry V - will be performed in New York between March 24th - May 1st 2016. Marking the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present King and Country: Shakespeare’s Great Cycle of Kings, comprising the four plays Richard II; Henry IV, Part I; Henry IV, Part II; Henry V. David Tennant returns in the title role of Richard II, Antony Sher and Jasper Britton play Falstaff and Henry IV respectively in the Henry IV plays, and Alex Hassell continues the journey of young Prince Hal, who reaches maturity as Henry V in the final play of the tetralogy. The plays are directed by the RSC's Artistic Director Gregory Doran.
